Dulse (Palmaria Palmata)

Dulse  or Dillisk is a red algae that mainly grows along the Atlantic coast of Europe and North America. It has been consumed by the Irish for centuries and has It has also been nicknamed "bacon of the sea" because of its rich flavor. Dulse is one of the few seaweeds that contains almost 1/3 fiber and 1/3 protein exists. Many vegans use this as bacon on burgers or as a salt substitute in food. Our Dulse is organic and wild harvested in Ireland by a family business.
